Very nice venue, well kept fishery, good looking fish ,weather was shocking, but had a nice day, breakfast was nice 👌, polite staff,.. which is more than I can say for Lechlade,

First time fishing here and loved it some really big fish in here well worth the visit.

I've fished at Dever a couple of times in the last 6 months and felt the lakes were well under stocked compared to a few years ago, When you are being charged £90 for a 3 fish ticket you'd expect the lakes to be stocked well, We started first thing 8am and finished at 4.30pm and I had 1 take all day, I changed my fly and method countless times without any results, as did many people fishing. It was a perfect day maybe a bit bright but fine. The chap in charge was very blunt and a bit rude marching up to us as we were packing our kit away in our car at 4.45 telling us the gate closes at 5pm sharp and if we are not out by then he will not come down to open it! We actually drove through the gate at 4.55pm I think he could do with going on a course in public relations. I was very disappointed with my day at Dever it used to be a really good venue to go to.

Beautiful place the staff were extremely friendly Unfortunately I didn't catch anything but that's fishing 😕

I fished here today 21/6/23 what a fantastic fishery very well kept really friendly staff and the fishing was amazing thanks for a great day I will definitely be returning 2 x 6.5 pound and 1 x 7.5 pounds regards sean Benstead

I wanted to give a great review on the customer service at Dever springs. So firstly the fishing was very tough when I was there (im also not the best trout fisherman) and I didnt manage to catch anything, plenty to be seen but the weather was tough. You might be asking why am I giving Dever 5 stars??. The things that could be controlled were excellent. The customer service was down right amazing. From friendly staff providing lots of info and help to at the end when my car wouldn't start helping to jump start it. Even though I ended up stuck there 2 hours after close I was never rushed or made to feel bad. Customer service was top notch :) Thanks again

Booked a corporate day for 20 very keen fly fishermen, only two managed to catch 4 fish, 1 managed to catch 3, the rest caught was a mixed bunch of twos and ones with five chaps blanking, the best fish on the day was 7lbs 12ounces. Not the best days fishing and certainly not worth the money.

Fantastic venue Stuart runs a great fishery and also cooks a great fry-up which is served at 10am ...I highly recommend this fishery with some hard fighting trout also you have a chance of getting a double figured fish.

Went by on the road and saw the "smoked trout for sale" sign by the roadside. Turned around and went in. Friendly and welcoming staff on site. Bought two sides of very nice cold smoked trout which proved to be very delicious. The friendly seller Peter took his time explaining about the lakes and the different trouts - definitely coming back to learn how to fly fish.

First visit to Dever Springs and was not disappointed, a well set out fishery with a fishing lodge serving coffee and has really clean lavatories. Fish are of a very good quality and the fighting qualities are excellent Recommend a visit
